Bearded dragons are a preferred species of pet reptile. They’re native to Australia and have a lifespan of 8-10 years. Bearded dragons are sexually mature at 1-2 years of age.
The breeding season for bearded dragons is from September to March. Throughout this time, males will develop into extra aggressive and territorial. They may even develop a darkish beard, which is an indication of their readiness to mate. Females will develop into extra receptive to males throughout this time and can typically show a submissive posture.
