A boutonniere is a small flower association worn on the lapel of a go well with jacket or tuxedo. It’s sometimes made from a single flower or a small cluster of flowers, and is commonly accented with greenery or different ornamental parts. Boutonnieres are a preferred accent for weddings, proms, and different formal occasions.
The custom of sporting boutonnieres dates again to the sixteenth century, after they have been first worn by Europeanmen. Within the Victorian period, boutonnieres grew to become widespread amongst all social courses, and so they have remained a preferred vogue accent ever since.
